pixiv Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo, Representative Director: Shingo Kunieda, hereafter referred to as pixiv) will be hosting "CLCT for SUMMER", their second 3D creation support project, starting on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.
Yukata fashion items designed for use in the metaverse will be added for free to the character creation software "VRoid Studio". In addition, on the creator's market BOOTH, a topic page will be opened to introduce fashion items made by creators that would fit summer-themed 3D avatars.

Items Overview

The theme this time is SUMMER.

To go with the theme of a Japanese summer, we've added seven hairstyles that can freely be used as a modeling base and seven fashion items based on yukata, jinbei, and geta. The yukata model's pattern can be altered, so you can create your own one-of-a-kind pattern.

BOOTH's Simultaneous 3D Fashion Topic

There will be a topic titled "3D Fashion SUMMER Topic presented by CLCT" on BOOTH at the same time, highlighting 3D avatar fashion that fit the theme of summer. Please take this chance to enjoy the world of 3D creation with different creator's designs from the essential summer item of yukata to small accessories like different fans.

pixiv will be giving away special CLCT for SUMMER clear files for free from our booth (441) at "Comiket 100" on August 13th and 14th. If you plan on coming to this event, definitely stop by our booth.

About CLCT

"CLCT (Collect)" is a project launched in response to the growing global demand for metaverse and 3D avatar models and to support creators around the world who are looking to venture into 3D modeling through various services provided by pixiv Inc.

This year marks the 4th year since the release of the character creation software VRoid Studio. We have released over 100 free fashion items in total as of the July 2022 collection. 3D models created using these items can be used as avatars in the metaverse, in games, in app development, and for a variety of other purposes, including both individual and corporate, commercial and non-commercial use.
We have many projects based on different fashion and 3D character creation themes in the works as well.
