Starting Thursday, December 4th, 2025, our newest original 3D model, Wolfchan, designed for use in VRChat, is available from the official VRoid Project BOOTH shop. The XAvatar version of Wolfchan, compatible with VRoid Studio’s Dress-up/XWear feature, is free to download for everyone.

Wolfchan is a 3D model created specifically for VRChat. You can use it as-is or customize it by changing costumes, hairstyles, and more.

The XAvatar format is compatible with VRoid Studio’s Dress-up/XWear feature, which allows you to load VRChat-ready avatars and 3D items into the software, customize them, and export them in a format ready for upload to VRChat.

In addition to the free XAvatar version, Wolfchan's product page also offers a paid package for 4000 JPY. This package includes a UnityPackage (pre-configured for VRChat), along with FBX data and PSD texture files useful for making edits or designing compatible outfits.

About Wolfchan

Wolfchan is a 3D model created specifically for VRChat. 

You can customize the model by attaching or removing not only the outfit but also the wolf ears and tail from the base body. The default hairstyle hides them, but the model also includes human ears, so you can also use hairstyles that tuck behind the ears.

Wolfchan includes 53 types of expression shape keys, plus animated expressions for ears and tail.
You can also combine shape keys to create your own original facial expressions.

Feel free to customize the model however you like!

About XAvatar

Wolfchan is a 3D model compatible with the XAvatar format. 
The XAvatar version of Wolfchan is available as a free download from the product page. 

XAvatar is a data format used with VRoid Studio’s Dress-up/XWear feature, 
which lets you easily mix and match avatars, outfits, and accessories designed for different body types.

Dressed-up avatars can be uploaded to VRChat or exported as VRM files for use in other apps. 

In addition, you can easily convert VRChat outfits and accessories purchased on BOOTH into a format compatible with the Dress-up/XWear feature using the free XWear Package tool. 

This allows you to reuse outfits and accessories you already own, or even sell your own original avatars and outfits on BOOTH in the XWear-compatible format.
